In an earlier blog, I mentioned that I was interested in having a Mary Kay party. Well, two weekends ago, I had one. For my roommate’s birthday, I drove to Gas City and brought her back home for the party. To cut straight to the point of the story, after the party and before I dropped Kristen (my roommate) off at her house, we stopped at the local petting zoo.
This petting zoo had all sorts of animals. There were ducks, rabbits, ostriches, alpacas, deer, pigs, goats, and a couple other types of animals. Now, for those of you who know me, you know that I am absolutely terrified of deer. So you can imagine that this trip to the petting zoo was a rather interesting experience. Gas City is about a 45 minute drive from Fort Wayne, so if you’re ever in the area, stopping by the Gas City petting zoo would be a fun experience! I’ve attached a few pictures of the deer that I saw. If I’m feeling ambitious (and don’t forget), I will add some pictures of the other animals later.
